A tiny green hummingbird, wrapped in cloth and tape by a Dutch traveler trying to smuggle birds out of French Guiana, is one of a dozen hummingbirds rescued on Sept. 27 at the Rochambeau Airport in Cayenne, French Guiana. The birds had been stowed in a special pouch sewn into the pants of the smuggler.
